Join Kevin Scully on a painting holiday on the beautiful Greek island of Amorgos. After a flight to one of the nearby islands or perhaps Athens, you will arrive by ferry at either the port of Aegiali, or Katapola. Here you will be met and taken the short distance to our hotel situated in the quiet village of Langada. The holiday is run in association with ‘FindinGreece’, a company based in the village, which specialises in the Cyclades Islands.

The Pagali is a friendly, family-run hotel that has its own taverna serving delicious traditional dishes created from ingredients grown on their own farm.
On the first evening we will dine at the hotel, and subsequent evenings will be spent visiting some other excellent tavernas.
After breakfast we will leave the hotel at about 10am each day and travel to a variety of inspiring painting locations, including one day spent visiting the dramatic Monastery of Chozoviotissa. We may paint at the enchanting capital of the island, Chora, or at one of the many beaches scattered around the island. We will also travel to other villages, with their narrow, cobbled streets and old houses to paint scenes of traditional Greek life.

There will be one free day for people to do as they please; spend a day at a beach, continue painting, or take advantage of one of the many activities offered by ‘FindinGreece’ – culinary tours, guided walks, music and dance, cruising and fishing, and so much more.
Tuition will be relaxed and informal, and as the group will be small, everyone will receive plenty of individual attention.

If you travel from Athens the ferries arrive on Amorgos at about 1.10am, which is why an extra day has been added. This allows you to relax for a day before the holiday begins on the following day. A flight to either Mykonos or Santorini will mean a much shorter ferry trip to Amorgos.
